Here are a few tips to maintain your jewelry.  They are divided into 3 categories; genuine leather, freshwater pearls and sterling silver.  Proper maintenance will help maintain your jewelry their original condition.

Sterling silver

The best way to keep your shiny sterling silver as purchased is to wear it.  Wearing sterling silver jewelry allows it to be rubbed against your skin and your clothes polishing it naturally without any effort on your part. When it is not worn you can minimize tarnishing your silver jewelry by storing it in a re-sealable plastic bag ("Ziploc” style).  The presence of oxygen will be restricted and slow the oxidation phenomenon of your sterling silver.

Instruction to clean a sterling silver jewel:

1. Immerse only the part of your sterling silver jewelry in a bowl of boiling water with a little dish soap.  With a sponge or soft brush gently remove the dirt.  Rinse with water and dry with a microfiber cloth. That's it!

2. If after the first step you are not satisfied put your jewelry in a small bowl of water with baking soda.  Soak a few minutes, rinse with water and dry with a microfiber line.  Your jewelry should have regained its luster.
